We're excited to announce the launch of CabinPulse Add-Ons – wireless sensors that work with your existing CabinPulse device to dramatically expand what you can monitor - and where - all without WiFi or additional subscription fees.
What Are CabinPulse Add-Ons?
CabinPulse Add-Ons are battery-powered sensors that connect to a nearby CabinPulse device through a reliable, long-range wireless connection, extending your monitoring capabilities throughout your property. They work up to 30+ meters away from your main unit and monitor for years off standard AA lithium batteries, giving you the flexibility to monitor areas that matter most to you.
Best of all? Add-Ons work with existing CabinPulse devices and there are no ongoing costs - monitoring is included in your existing subscription at no additional cost.

Today, we're launching with two essential Add-Ons that our customers have been requesting most:
Temperature Add-On
Monitor additional heating zones beyond your main CabinPulse unit. In normal conditions, the CabinPulse Temperature Add-On sends a temperature reading every 6 hours. When the temperature falls outside of your customizable 'safe zone', the device wakes and you'll get an alert instantly.
During alert states, you'll get an update every 30 minutes and when the alert resolved, the device wakes instantly and you'll be notified right away.
You can view the most recent temperature reading, battery status, signal strength and past 24hrs of data from your dashboard.
Alerts are configurable from -40°C to 125°C - though note that the device itself is rated only up to 60°C.
The Temperature Add-On can be placed in configuration mode by toggling the power switch and following the instructions on the dashboard and included quick start guide.
The CabinPulse Temperature Add-On is perfect for:
- Separate heating zones in larger properties
- Basements or crawl spaces prone to freezing
- Wine cellars or temperature-sensitive storage areas
- Greenhouses or workshops
- Guest houses or detached buildings
- Locations without power

Leak Sensor Add-On
Water damage is one of the most expensive problems property owners face, often costing thousands of dollars to repair. Our Leak Sensor Add-On provides early warning before a small leak becomes a disaster.
The Leak Sensor Add-On has built-in contacts that monitor whatever surface the device is placed on, and also supports an optional external leak cable.
- Direct Contact Sensors – Place near hot water tanks, sump pumps, washing machines, or under sinks; anywhere with slow, small volume leaks.
- Leak Cable – Lay along basement floors, under appliances, or anywhere water might pool; best for large volume, fast leaks.
It regularly checks in with your CabinPulse device and you'll get a notification if it stops reporting - you can be confident that everything's working as it should be.
The moment water is detected, you'll get an instant alert so you can take action before serious damage occurs.
How Add-Ons Work
Setting up Add-Ons is just as simple as your CabinPulse device.
- Place Your Sensor – Position it anywhere within 30 metres of your CabinPulse device
- Pair in Dashboard – As soon as you turn on the Add-On, you'll be able to claim the sensor on your dashboard in seconds
- Set Your Alerts – Customize thresholds and notification preferences
- Relax – Your expanded monitoring system is active
Each CabinPulse device supports up to 30 Add-Ons, so you can build a comprehensive monitoring solution tailored to your property's unique needs.
Battery-Powered Convenience
Because Add-Ons are battery-powered, you can place them anywhere without worrying about power outlets or running wires. All Add-Ons are designed to operate off AA batteries; we recommend using AA lithium batteries, such as Energizer Ultimate Lithium for maximum battery life and performance. In normal conditions, most Add-Ons will work for years before needing new batteries.
Add-Ons will alert you when battery replacement is needed or if they stop reporting in.
Compatible with Existing Devices
If you purchased your CabinPulse device in May 2025 or later, you're ready to go. Simply add the sensors to your order, and they'll work seamlessly with your current setup and subscription.
